1207. Service of notices under Part I of the Leasehold Reform Act 1967.

The general provisions of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 relating to service of notices1, which in turn apply the notice and service provisions of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1927, have effect for the purposes of the Leasehold Reform Act 19672.

Where a person ('the claimant') gives notice as tenant3 of a house4 of his desire to have the freehold or an extended lease5:
