Any document authorised or required by the Rent Act 1977 to be served by the tenant1 of a dwelling house on the landlord2 is deemed to be duly served on him if it is served:
(1) on any agent of the landlord named as such in the rent book or other similar document3; or
(2) on the person who receives the rent of the dwelling house4.
Where a dwelling house is subject to a regulated tenancy5, the above provisions apply also in relation to any document authorised or required by the Act to be served on the landlord by a
