1233. Provision in conveyance as to restrictive covenants.

As regards restrictive covenants, that is to say any covenant or agreement restrictive of the user of any land or premises1, a conveyance2 must include:


    (1)     such provisions, if any, as the landlord3 may require to secure that the tenant4 is bound by, or to indemnify the landlord against breaches of, restrictive covenants which affect the house5 and premises otherwise than by virtue of the tenancy6 or any agreement collateral to it and are enforceable for the benefit of other property; and


    (2)     such provisions, if any, as the landlord or the tenant may require to secure the continuance,
