616. Provision by landlords of written summary of relevant costs or service charge information.

Until a day to be appointed1, a tenant2 may require the landlord3 in writing to supply him with a written summary of the costs incurred:

  1.  

    (1)     if the relevant accounts are made up for periods of twelve months, in the last such period ending not later than the date of the request4; or

  2.  

    (2)     if the accounts are not so made up, in the period of twelve months ending with the date of the request5,
