On the date of service of a landlord's notice proposing an assured tenancy1, or at any time between that date and the date of termination2, the landlord3 may serve a notice on the tenant4 in the prescribed form5 proposing an interim monthly rent6 to take effect from a date specified in the notice, being not earlier than the specified date of termination7, and to continue while the tenancy8 is continued by virtue of9 Schedule 10 to the Local Government and Housing Act 198910.
