The following provisions have effect in relation to Wales (and, at the date at which this volume states the law, also in relation to certain transitional cases in England)1.
A person is qualified to succeed the tenant2 under a secure tenancy3 of a dwelling house4 in Wales (or, in certain transitional cases, in England) if he occupies the dwelling house as his only or principal home5 at the time of the tenant's death6, and either:
(1) he is the tenant's spouse or civil partner
