796. Obsolete cases: Cases 13, 14 and 19: out of season letting, houses previously let to students and protected shorthold tenancies.

Where a dwelling house was let1:

  1.  

    (1)     under a tenancy for a term of years certain2 not exceeding eight months and:

    1.  

      (a)     not later than the relevant date3 the landlord had given notice in writing to the tenant4 that possession might be recovered under Case 135; and

    2.  

      (b)     the dwelling house was, at some time within a period of 12 months ending on the relevant date, occupied under a right to occupy it for a holiday6; or

  2.  

    (2)     under a tenancy for a term of years certain7 not exceeding 12 months and:

    1.  

      (a)     not later than the relevant date
