1041. Meaning of 'old-style secure tenancy' in England.

As from a day to be appointed, the following provisions have effect1.

For the purposes of Part IV of the Housing Act 19852, 'old-style secure tenancy' means a secure tenancy3 of a dwelling house4 in England5 that:


    (1)     is a secure tenancy (other than a flexible tenancy6) granted before the day on which the provisions that allow new secure tenancies in England to be granted
