'Board' includes any board provided and is not confined to full board, but it may be that the items alleged to constitute board are so small that they will be ignored, for example, an early morning cup of tea1.
'Attendance' means service personal to the tenant2 provided by the landlord in accordance with the contract for the use of the premises3. Services which are not for the tenant's exclusive benefit, such as the heating of the communal water supply of a block of flats, or the cleaning of the common passages and hallways, cannot amount to attendance
