An assured tenancy1 created before 28 February 19972 is an assured shorthold tenancy if:
(1) it is a fixed term tenancy3 granted for a term certain of not less than six months4; and
(2) there was no power for the landlord5 to determine the tenancy6 at any time earlier than six months from the beginning of the tenancy7; and
(3) a notice in respect of it is served
