The County Court1 has jurisdiction to determine any question arising under Part IV of the Housing Act 19852, and to entertain proceedings brought under Part IV, and claims, for whatever amount, in connection with a secure tenancy3. That jurisdiction includes jurisdiction to entertain proceedings under the Housing Act 1985 on the following questions:
(1) whether a consent required on an assignment by way of exchange4 was withheld otherwise than on one or more of the specified grounds5;
(2) whether a landlord's consent to subletting part of a dwelling house6 or to carrying out improvements7 was withheld or unreasonably withheld;
