An insurance scheme1 must make provision2 in relation to the respective obligations of the landlord3 and the scheme administrator4 where a tenancy deposit5 has been retained by the landlord under the scheme, and the tenancy has ended6. Where the tenant7 notifies the scheme administrator that8:
(1) the tenant has requested the landlord to repay to him the whole or any part of the deposit9; and
(2) the amount in question ('the outstanding amount') has not been repaid to him within the period of ten days beginning with the date on which the request was made10,
