If a notice is served by a tenant1, requiring the landlord2 to supply specified evidence of insurance cover3, in a case where a superior landlord has effected, in whole or in part, the insurance of the dwelling4 in question, and the landlord on whom the notice is served is not in possession of the relevant information5:
(1) he must in turn by notice in writing require the person who is his landlord to give him the relevant information (and so on, if that person is not himself the superior landlord)6;
(2) the superior landlord must comply with the notice
