The restrictions on the right to possession of a dwelling house subject to an assured tenancy1 are removed in the following circumstances:
(1) where possession is sought of a house in respect of which a demolition order or a prohibition order has been made2;
(2) where the house is required to enable a local authority to exercise its powers under any enactment relating to housing3;
(3) if the appropriate national authority4 certifies that possession of a house acquired or appropriated and held by certain authorities for planning purposes is immediately required for those purposes5.
