Where the landlord1 has begun proceedings for the possession of a dwelling house2 let3 under an introductory tenancy4, and:
(1) the trial period ends5; or
(2) the tenancy ceases to be an introductory tenancy before the end of the trial period6,
then, subject as follows, the tenancy continues to be an introductory tenancy until the tenancy comes to an end with the execution of the possession order7, or until the proceedings are otherwise finally determined8. If:
(a) a person or body other than a local housing authority9 or housing action trust10 becomes the landlord under the tenancy11; or
