1324. Ecclesiastical landlords.

The following provisions have effect as regards Chapter I1 or Chapter II2 landlords who are ecclesiastical landlords3.

In relation to an interest4 of an ecclesiastical landlord, the consent of the Church Commissioners5 is required in certain circumstances6 to sanction:

(1)     the provisions to be contained in a conveyance7 or in any lease granted8, and the price or premium payable9, except as regards matters determined by the court or the appropriate tribunal10;

(2)     any exercise of the ecclesiastical landlord's rights to terminate a new lease on the grounds of redevelopment11, except as described above, and any agreement for the payment of compensation to
