925. Compensation for misrepresentation or concealment.

Where a landlord1 obtains an order for possession of a dwelling house2 let3 on an assured tenancy4 on one or more of the statutory grounds5, and it is subsequently proved to the court6 that the order was obtained by misrepresentation or concealment of material facts, the court may order the landlord to pay to the former tenant7 such sum as appears sufficient as compensation for damage or loss sustained by that tenant as a result of the order8.
