Where the tenancy1 of a house2 and premises3 has not been extended4 but the tenant5 has a right to an extended lease and gives notice of his desire to have one, the statutory provisions relating to repossession on the ground of redevelopment following the extension of a lease6 apply as if the lease had been extended; and
(1) on the making by the landlord7 of an application to the court under those provisions, the notice is suspended until the time when an order allowing the application
