393. Claims on behalf of the crews of ships.

It would seem that, by way of exception to the general requirement of nationality1, the state of nationality or flag state of a ship2 may seek redress on behalf of crew members of the ship and, it appears, more generally, on behalf of every person involved or interested in a vessel's operations, irrespective of their nationality, when they have been injured in connection with an injury to the vessel resulting from an internationally wrongful act
