The Tier 2 (Intra-company Transfer) Migrant route enables multinational employers to transfer their existing employees from outside the European Economic Area ('EEA') to their branch in the United Kingdom for training purposes or to fill a specific vacancy that cannot be filled by a British or EEA worker1. There are two sub-categories in this route: long term staff2 and graduate trainees3.
All migrants arriving in the United Kingdom and wishing to enter as a Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) Migrant must have a valid entry clearance for entry under this route; otherwise entry will be refused4. To qualify for entry clearance
