The requirements to be met by a person seeking entry clearance or leave to enter the United Kingdom1 as a short-term student for up to and including six months study or, for persons aged 16 and over, for up to and including 11 months for English language study only2 are that he:
(1) does not fall for refusal under the general grounds for refusal3;
(2) is aged 16 or over4;
(3) does not intend to study at an academy or state-funded school5;
(4) does not intend to study in
