A party may be represented by any person not otherwise prohibited1 from representing him2 and anything permitted or required to be done by a party under the procedure rules3, a practice direction or a direction, except signing a witness statement, may be done by the representative of that party4.
If a party appoints a representative, that party or, if the representative is a qualified representative, the representative must send or deliver to the First-tier Tribunal5 written notice of the representative's name and address6. A person who receives notice of the appointment of a representative
