A person may be removed from the United Kingdom1 under the authority of the Secretary of State2 or an immigration officer if the person requires leave to enter or remain in the United Kingdom and does not have it3.
Where a person is liable to be, or has been, so removed, a member their family may also be removed4 if that family member is not a British citizen5 or not entitled to enter or remain in the United Kingdom by virtue of an enforceable EU right6, and is:
(1) the person's partner7;
(2) the person's child, or a child living
