The Secretary of State1 may refuse to issue, revoke or refuse to renew a registration certificate2, a residence card3, a document certifying permanent residence4 or a permanent residence card5 if the refusal or revocation is justified on grounds of public policy, public security or public health6, or on grounds of a misuse of rights7. A decision to remove a person from the United Kingdom8 or to revoke a person's admission to the United Kingdom9 invalidates a registration certificate, residence card, document certifying permanent residence or permanent residence card held by that person or an application made by that person
