Where entry clearance or leave to enter or remain as a partner1, child2 or parent3 is granted under the Immigration Rules relating to family members4, it will normally be granted subject to a condition of no recourse to public funds5. The exception to this is where the applicant has provided the decision maker with satisfactory evidence that he is destitute6 or that there are particularly compelling reasons relating to the welfare of a child of a parent in receipt of a very low income
