356. Permanent right of residence.

The following persons may acquire the right to reside in the United Kingdom permanently1:

  1.  

    (1)     an EEA national2 who has resided in the United Kingdom in accordance with the Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations 20163 for a continuous period of five years4;

  2.  

    (2)     a family member5 of an EEA national who is not himself an EEA national but who has resided in the United Kingdom with the EEA national in accordance with the Regulations for a continuous period of five years6;

    (3)     a worker or self-employed person who has ceased activity7;
