The requirements to be met by a person seeking indefinite leave to remain in the United Kingdom1 as the spouse, civil partner or unmarried partner of a person present and settled2 in the United Kingdom or being admitted on the same occasion for settlement as a Gurkha discharged from the British Army or a foreign or Commonwealth citizen discharged from HM Forces3, or of a member of HM Forces who is exempt from immigration control4 and has at least five years' continuous service, are that:
