160.     Indefinite leave to remain as the partner of a person who has, or has had, leave to remain for employment purposes.

The requirements to be met by a person seeking indefinite leave to remain in the United Kingdom1 as the partner of a person who has or has had leave to enter or remain in the United Kingdom for employment purposes2 are that the applicant:

  1.  

    (1)     is either the spouse, civil partner or unmarried partner of a person who has limited leave to enter or remain in the United Kingdom for employment purposes and who
