The requirements to be met by a person seeking indefinite leave to remain as the parent1 or a child in the United Kingdom2 are that:
(1) the applicant must be in the United Kingdom3;
(2) the applicant must have made a valid application4 for indefinite leave to remain as a parent5;
(3) the applicant must not fall for refusal on any of the suitability requirements set out in the rules for indefinite leave6;
(4) the applicant must either meet all the eligibility requirements set out in the rules for limited leave to remain as a parent7, or meet specified
