501. Grounds of appeal.

An appeal against the refusal of a protection claim1 must be brought on one or more of the following grounds2:

  1.  

    (1)     that removal of the person from the United Kingdom3 would breach the United Kingdom's obligations under the Refugee Convention4;

  2.  

    (2)     that removal of the person from the United Kingdom would breach the United Kingdom's obligations in relation to persons eligible for a grant of humanitarian protection5;

  3.  

    (3)     that removal of the person from the United Kingdom would be unlawful under the Human Rights Act 19986;
