The specified evidence which applicants need to provide to meet the requirements of the Immigration Rules relating to family members1 are set out in an appendix to the rules2. Where evidence is not so specified, but is of a type covered by the appendix, the requirements of the appendix apply3.
The types of evidence covered by the appendix are:
(1) the specified evidence required to meet the financial requirements4;
(2) evidence of marriage or civil partnership5;
