The requirements to be met by a person seeking entry clearance1 as a child whose parent2 is applying for entry clearance or limited leave to enter, or who has already been granted limited leave, as a partner3 or parent4 are that:
(1) the applicant must be outside the United Kingdom5;
(2) the applicant must have made a valid application for entry clearance as a child6;
(3) the applicant must not fall for refusal under the suitability requirements for entry clearance7; and
(4) the applicant must meet all of the eligibility requirements for entry clearance as a child8.
