Indefinite leave to remain may be granted, on application, to a domestic worker in a private household provided that the Secretary of State1 is satisfied that the following requirements are met2; otherwise indefinite leave to remain will be refused3. The requirements are that:
(1) he entered the United Kingdom4 with valid entry clearance as a domestic worker in a private household under the Rules in place before 6 April 20125;
(2) he has spent a continuous period of five years lawfully in the United Kingdom employed
