A registration official1 may:
(1) disclose any information he holds, or supply any document he holds:
(a) to the Secretary of State2 or to another registration official, for use either for immigration purposes3 or for purposes connected with the referral of proposed marriages or proposed civil partnerships to the Secretary of State4;
(b) to an eligible person5, or to another registration official in England and Wales, for use for crime-fighting purposes6;
(2) disclose to another registration official the fact that a suspicion about a marriage or civil partnership has been reported to the Secretary of State7, and the content
