In relation to the temporary storage below ground at a mine1 of explosives2 for which a licence for their storage is not required3, subject to a condition relating to licensing4, the mine operator5 may designate as many places below ground at the mine as may be necessary for the temporary storage of explosives to which these provisions apply pending their use in shotfiring operations6.
