The following provisions have effect from IP completion day.
No person who is a responsible person1 for the purposes of the relevant regulations2 may place machinery3 on the market4 or put it into service5 unless it is safe6.
The regulations apply to machinery of the following categories7:
(1) assemblies which fall within one of the following descriptions:
(a) an assembly, fitted with or intended to be fitted with a drive system other than directly applied human or animal effort, consisting of linked parts or components, at least one of which moves, and which are joined together for a specific
