The owner1 of a non-production installation2 must ensure that it is not moved3 with a view to its being operated4 there unless: (1) he has prepared a safety case5 containing the specified particulars6; (2) he has sent the safety case to the Health and Safety Executive or as the case may be, the Executive and the Secretary of State7 at least three months (or such shorter period as the authorities may specify) before the movement of the installation in those waters with a view to its being operated there; and (3) the authorities have accepted the safety case8.
