Where a dangerous substance1 is or is liable to be present at the workplace2, the employer3 must make a suitable and sufficient assessment of the risks4 to his employees5 which arise from that substance6. The risk assessment must include consideration of:
(1) the hazardous7 properties of the substance;
(2) information on safety provided by the supplier, including information contained in any relevant safety data sheet8;
(3) the circumstances of the work including:
