672.     Review and testing of emergency plans in regard to radiation emergencies.

Each operator1 or local authority2 who has prepared an emergency plan3 must at suitable intervals not exceeding three years unless agreed by the regulator4:

(1)     review and where necessary revise the plan for which they are responsible5; and

(2)     test that plan6, taking reasonable steps to arrange for all those with a role in the plan to participate in the test to the extent necessary to ensure that the plan is effective7.

The regulator may only agree that the review and test required may take place
