356.     Registers and records under miscellaneous enactments.

A register must be kept of persons under the age of 16 employed in any industrial undertaking1 with the dates of their birth, and this register must be open to inspection at all times2. Failure to keep the register, or refusal or neglect to produce it for inspection by an officer of a local authority, renders the employer liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 2 on the standard scale3.
