In regard to the coronavirus pandemic, the following provisions1 require the closure of specified businesses, to protect against the risks to public health arising from coronavirus, except for limited permitted uses, apply in relation to England only2 and expire on 4 January 20213. A person responsible for carrying on a specified business or providing a specified service4 must, subject to exceptions for hosting blood donation sessions, providing facilities for training for elite sportspersons, and businesses or services in shops or restaurants or cafés which are self-contained and can be accessed directly from outside the premises, cease to carry on
