The competent authority1 must make the following information available to the public2, including by electronic means, in relation to every establishment3: (1) the name of the operator4 and the address of the establishment; (2) confirmation that the Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations 20155 apply to the establishment and that the required notification6 and the safety report7 have been sent to the competent authority; (3) an explanation in simple terms of the activity or activities undertaken at the establishment; (4) the hazard classification of the relevant dangerous substances8 involved at the establishment which could give rise to a major
