345.     Power of inspector in causes of imminent danger.

In the case of any article or substance1 found by an inspector2 in any premises3 which he has power to enter4, where he has reasonable cause to believe that, in the circumstances in which he finds it, the article or substance is a cause of imminent danger of serious personal injury5, he may seize it and cause it to be rendered harmless, whether by destruction or otherwise6.
