632. Medical surveillance in regard to exposure to lead.

Every employer1 must ensure that each of his employees who is or is liable to be exposed to lead2 is under suitable medical surveillance3 by a relevant doctor4 where:

  1.  

    (1)     the exposure of the employee to lead is, or is liable to be, significant5;

  2.  

    (2)     the blood-lead concentration or urinary lead concentration of the employee is measured and equals or exceeds the specified levels6; or

  3.  

    (3)     a relevant doctor certifies that the employee should be under such medical surveillance,

and the technique of investigation is of low risk to the employee7. Medical surveillance so required must:
