Duties are imposed1 on every employer, self-employed person2, skipper3 of a fishing vessel4, and others who have control5 of non-domestic premises6 made available as places of work in relation to fish loading processes7. The duties extend only to matters within their control8, and apply to all fish loading processes in Great Britain9.
So far as is reasonably practicable10, all floors, decks, surfaces, stairs, steps, passages and gangways in any place of work or any access to and egress from it must be kept free from any substances likely to cause persons
