For licensable work with asbestos1, every employer2 must ensure that:
(1) a health record is maintained and contains particulars approved3 by the Health and Safety Executive4, for all that employer's employees who are exposed to asbestos5; and
(2) that record or a copy of that record is kept available in a suitable form for at least 40 years from the date of the last entry made in it; and
(3) each employee who is exposed to asbestos is under adequate6 medical surveillance by a relevant doctor7.
The medical surveillance required by head (3) above must include: (a) a medical examination8
