The Ionising Radiations Regulations 20171 impose duties on employers to protect employees and other persons against ionising radiation2 arising from work with radioactive substances3 and other sources of ionising radiation4. The regulations also impose certain duties on employees5. The Secretary of State must from time to time carry out a review of the regulatory provision contained in the regulations and publish a report setting out the conclusions of the review6.
