The fire precautions to be taken generally by employers and other persons in control of workplaces and other premises are governed by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 20051. Where the premises are a workplace2, the responsible person3 must ensure that any duty imposed by the relevant provisions as to fire safety4 is complied with in respect of those premises5.
