The Biocidal Products and Chemicals (Appointment of Authorities and Enforcement) Regulations 20131 provide for the enforcement, in respect of Great Britain, of European Union Regulations concerning biocidal products ('the Biocides Regulation')2 and the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures ('the CLP Regulation')3. In respect of the United Kingdom, the regulations provide for the appointment of designated national authorities in relation to the European Union Regulation concerning the export and import of hazardous chemicals ('the PIC Regulation')4.
