677.     Client duties in relation to management of projects.

A client1 must make suitable arrangements2 for managing a project3, including the allocation of sufficient time and other resources4.

A client must ensure that these arrangements are maintained and reviewed throughout the project5.

A client must provide pre-construction information6 as soon as is practicable to every designer7 and contractor8 appointed, or being considered for appointment, to the project9.

A client must ensure that:

    (1)     before the construction phase10 begins, a construction phase plan11 is drawn up by the contractor if there is only one contractor, or by the principal contractor12; and
